This page demonstrates how to use the built‑in RSS connector in Swiffle Grid.

The connector retrieves articles from any valid RSS feed and automatically extracts the title, description, publication date, and image when available. The example below uses the New York Times RSS service as the data source.

The only required setting is the RSS feed URL. Swiffle Grid handles the parsing and generates one card per article.

https://rss.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/HomePage.xml

Tip: Many major news websites still maintain RSS feeds. For example:

  • BBC
  • Reuters
  • The Guardian
  • NPR
  • The New York Times

Each of these sites provides its own RSS page with direct feed URLs.

Resulting layout after adjusting card settings:

  • Card width: 300
  • Card height: auto
  • Card radius: 8

The RSS connector can be used with any public RSS feed, including news websites, blogs, podcasts, or internal company feeds.
